Behind this site

NIE Valladolid is a private, independent business. It belongs to no public body (police, Delegación del Gobierno, Oficina de Extranjería, Junta de Castilla y León, town hall) and has no authority to speak for one. Our guides describe official procedures; the offices concerned remain the only ones that apply and decide them.

The guides on this site

Each guide is written from the official sources it cites and checked against them when it is published. Rules, forms, fees and the organisation of offices change, sometimes without notice, and a general guide knows nothing of your particular situation. Read the guides as general information, not legal advice, and confirm anything decisive with the office concerned or with a qualified professional.

Your messages and our help

A message to us, by form or by email, commits neither side. Should you want our help after the first reply, we first put in writing the work we would do and its price, then wait for your go-ahead. When a partner firm is better placed to take on your request, we say so, and from then on its own terms apply.

Official fees and outcomes

What you pay the State, for instance through the Modelo 790 código 012, goes to the administration and is separate from anything you pay us. Careful preparation helps an appointment go smoothly, but the decision always belongs to the administration: we promise no particular result, no date and no deadline.

Limits of our responsibility

We are not liable for what the administration decides, for any change in the rules after a guide was written, or for how many appointments the booking system offers.
